For quite a while, you have told us that you wished you had an easier to way to learn about how your users are using and benefiting from Safari Books Online. Recently, our Customer Advisory Group Board has worked with us to give us specific feedback on what kind of a reporting dashboard would be of the most use. We are excited to inform you that that dashboard is now complete and available to you.
Announcing the Safari Books Online Customer Dashboard!
The Customer Dashboard is an executive dashboard that pulls data from Back Office into a convenient set of charts and tables that corporate account administrators can use to get quick snapshots of usage in their customer base. The dashboard was created in response to requests from customers and with input from the Customer Advisory Group Board of Directors. All administrators who have corporate licenses to Safari Books Online and the ability to administer their account, regardless of level or price point, have access to the dashboard.
With this simple dashboard you can see at a glance who is using the service when, and who is not. This will help you market the service and maximize usage. The information in the dashboard will allow you to see what topics and titles are used the most. The data will also show you which terms are searched most often, so you can help your teams find the materials they need. With the data in Safari Books Online’s dashboard, you have the ability to stay on top of emerging learning needs of your organization – all with the click of a button.

- Go to http://secure.safaribooksonline.com/SBODashboard
- Log in with your administrator Back Office credentials. Note that these credentials may differ from the Safari Books Online Customer Advisory Group Portal credentials.
- Data specific to your account will display. Click the question mark in the top right to see a help file
- We will also provide a link to the Dashboard from the Safari Books Online Customer Advisory Group portal.
